Drawing on inspiration
As a keen illustrator and paper artist I can be found in my spare time sketching, doodling and paper cutting.
My paper cutting journey began by creating designs for my wife, starting out as hand cutting into playing cards which then led on to larger more complex pieces. With lots of lovely comments from people I have recently launched papercapers.co.uk.
I love the challenge of working out what to keep and what to cut away and the jeopardy of making the wrong cut which would mean it falls to pieces! I like being able to see through a piece and the shadows it creates.
